Really enjoyable evening at Silver Gull Play Award 2021, New Theatre. Didn’t win – thought I was in with a chance – but great to see script-in-hand excerpt of my play and enthusiastic audience response. Thanks to New theatre esp. Helen Tonkin & Louise Fischer; and Mark G Nagle, Deng Deng, Sonya Kerr & Oghenero Francis Owofa for bringing life and humour to the script. And congrats to all playwrights!
